My passion for making art has been long lived, and was sparked when I was introduced to Printmaking at Murray State University. I received my BFA there, and am now at the University of Arizona to work toward my Master's in Printmaking. I grew fond of the process, and now enjoy working in screen printing, intaglio, relief, and lithography, as well as book arts. The subjects of my artwork derive from many different aspects of family, familiar connections, and the influences of those connections. These relationships are explored through finding out what our raw ingredients are, and how we can change them. Lately, I have expanded my work to encompass the reactions to family relations, including fixing, altering, pattern-making, and following patterns.
